RECHARGE YOUR CREATIVITY VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS
Join me for an informal time of online writing sprints, prompts, and creative reflection designed to break through writer's block and recharge your creativity. These are stand alone workshops. While there will be opportunities for participants to share what they write, it is not required. This is a low key, informal workshop with an emphasis on writing and reflecting. IMPROVPOSSIBLE: EMBRACING LIFE'S POSSIBILITIES THROUGH THE POWER OF "YES AND" This six-week class explores how the principles of improvisation can be applied to your everyday life to help you silence your inner critic, communicate more effectively, accept mistakes as gifts, and live in the present moment. You'll build confidence and have fun - all in a safe, supportive, creatively inspiring environment. Registration closes at 5 PM on July 9, 2021. * * * * * * * * * * * * * VIRTUAL WRITING WORKSHOP: TELL YOURSELF A NEW STORY Thursday, July 8, 2021 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM ET/US Fairport Public Library via Zoom “I can't write a book.” “No one cares what I have to say.” “I'll never have another good idea.” “I'm not really a writer.” These are just some of the stories we tell ourselves that create roadblocks along our creative path. But imagine the possibilities if you could tell yourself a different story! In this session, we'll use reflective writing prompts and fun exercises rooted in the improv principle of “Yes And” to silence the inner critic and turn those self-limiting statements upside down.
